Greg Tock is a multi-disciplinary sound artist who specializes in multi-track recording, drumming and sound design. His primary goal is to elevate the artist’s vision in the most organic and authentic way possible. He believes in exploring the extremes of the sonic spectrum in order to inform how, where and when the piece at hand exists.
After graduating from NYU with a degree in Music Technology in 2018, Greg has kept busy in a multitude of sonic projects. Most recently he scored a festival-nominated animated short film entitled “Hero’s Journey”. Earlier this year he sound designed the theatrical production of “Happy Birthday, Curiosity Rover!” (written by Laura Galindo) which was performed at The Brick Aux Theatre.
Greg has performed as a drummer internationally with a wide variety of bands and artists in styles ranging from post-punk to pop and everything in between. He is passionate about using his experience as a performer to inform his creative decisions in (and out) of the studio. When he’s not engineering or performing, Greg enjoys cooking and tending to his plants.
